Festive Sweater

12/21/17

I'm back!

Sorry for the hiatus, my readers! The last few months have been a whirlwind. I got married, went on a honeymoon, and have been crazy busy with work. I promise that I will share more wedding pictures in the next couple of weeks. I've been working on a long post about my wedding (with information on my vendors, what I wrote, tips, etc) so keep an eye out for that!

Isn't this the most wonderful time of the year? It feels extra special this year, since this is my first holiday season being married. We went a little overboard decorating our apartment and baking for Christmas, but I'm so excited to celebrate my first Christmas as a Mrs.!

A look like this is one of my go-to outfits for the office around the holidays. For our holiday party, I wore something a little fancier, but I wore this outfit for my last day in the office until the New Year. Today, I'm going out to dinner with a few ladies from work and we're exchanging Secret Santa gifts. I thought this outfit was perfect for the occasion.

I wanted to add a little flair to this festive and cozy sweater from Loft, so I added a plaid shirt underneath. I actually bought the wrong size in the plaid shirt by accident, but it totally works with this outfit - I love the way the plaid peekaboo's underneath the sweater. I paired it with black skinny dress pants and boots. The perfect holiday look. Of course, I'm wearing a festive red lip. We all know that no Office Fashionista look is complete without a bold lip! I'm obsessed with the lipstick I'm wearing in these pictures. It's called True Red by Smashbox, and it's my new go-to red lipstick.

I promise that I'll be back on my regular blogging schedule next year.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. Thanks so much for reading :)
