pure jean-ius

Happy Friday! Today I'm bringing you the perfect Friday outfit - a button down shirt, dark-wash jeans, and cognac booties.  It's casual, sophisticated, and office appropriate, of course! I've been searching high and low for a button down like the one in this post. There's PLENTY out there, but not ones that are within my budget. I stumbled across this one at Forever 21 and purchased it immediately. It's SO versatile. It can be worn with pretty much anything. I can't wait to wear it with tan sandals and a pretty pencil skirt in the summer :)

So yes, that is SNOW in the background of my pictures. It's almost April and it's officially spring, but it looks like winter just doesn't want to go home! It's been frigid and I hear that there's snow in the forecast for tomorrow. Yikes! Luckily, I got to escape to Florida for a work trip for a few days so I got to enjoy sunshine, hot hot weather, and Harry Potter World! Check out my instagram for pictures!

What are you up to this weekend? I'm going to a Devils game, cooking these burgers, catching up on this show, and plan on catching up some much needed sleep. Thanks so much for reading and have a wonderful weekend!

Hello from beautiful, sunny Florida! I'm in Florida for a work trip. It's 90 degrees here, hot, and the sun is shining. When I'm off the clock, I've been spending some time at the pool, laying out in the sun, and visiting Disney World. It's just so wonderful being somewhere with no snow on the ground.

So, these pictures were taken a few weeks ago.

I often find myself building my outfits around one key piece. These shoes were that key piece. I snatched these beauties at Wet Seal a few weeks ago. Sadly, my local Wet Seal store went out of business. The silver lining - super sales! These shoes were insanely cheap and I knew I had to add them to my collection. I've been looking for plaid flats for a long time!

Also, this dress has pockets. Any dress with pockets is a winner in my book ;) I'm really hoping when I return to NYC it'll start getting warmer!

Thank you to everyone who entered my giveaway last week. If you haven't already, be sure to check out Posh Silver Company! They have amazing, gorgeous necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, etc.

Thanks for reading!

Posh Silver Company + Giveaway!

3/12/15

Today, I'm bringing you guys a wonderful giveaway!  Scroll down for the details!

So, a few days ago, I had the opportunity to style some pieces from Posh Silver Company. When the owner of the shop, Rachel contacted me, I was ecstatic. The pieces are absolutely stunning! Rachel started the company a few years ago. She got her start in high school working for a sterling silver store at her local mall. She fell in love with the idea and then opened up a business of her own! Rachel started selling pieces at flea markets all over the US and corporate businesses. Her jewelry is now primarily sold online and at large festivals in the Northeast. Rachel's business is growing and thriving each and everyday. All of her pieces all extremely high quality sterling silver. Rachel's jewelry is all Irish and Celtic themed. She has necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings (and anklets seasonally!).

What I love about Posh Silver Company  are the versatility of the pieces. The pieces aren't just for St. Patrick's day, but can be worn all year round! They're perfect for the office. If you're a regular reader of my blog, you know that I love jewelry. Posh Silver Company's jewelry can totally take an outfit to the next level (as you can see from the pictures below). There are days where I just don't feel like dressing up. Like this past Monday. The time change really threw me off and I couldn't get out of bed. Long story short, I was running super late and threw on a basic white tee, black pants, this necklace from Posh Silver Company and I was good to go!

Ya'll seriously need to stock up on this jewelry. It's perfect for the office, for weekend wear, for a hot date and it's also the perfect gift!

Here are some of my favorite pieces from Posh Silver Company.

The Office Fashionista Turns One!

3/6/15

The Office Fashionista turns one! I can't believe it's been a year since I've launched this sweet, little blog of mine. This was my first post. Not much has changed... except my hair got a lot longer! :)

My goal when starting this blog was (and still is) to inspire you to become an office fashionista and bring a little sass to your work wardrobe!  I am so grateful for all the support and encouragement I've received this past year.

I owe it all to my wonderful photographer Jessi who is always willing to snap pictures of me in the rain, snow, sleet, sweltering heat, and busy NYC intersections. Also, my friend Lauren who sat with me for hours in a coffee shop helping me build my website from scratch. Thank you to all my friends who are constantly sharing my blog on social media and helping my blog grow.

Annnnnd... I'd like to thank YOU! My wonderful readers! Thank you for reading!

These pictures were snapped in the midst of a snowstorm the other day. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before, but taking pictures in the winter is tough. One of my resolutions this year was to reinvent outfits I've worn in the past. I previously wore this dress last spring - styled differently. Don't be afraid to repeat outfits! This time, I paired the dress with chunky tights, silver socks, and a cool necklace from my Aunt.

Be sure to stop by next week! I've teamed up with an amazing jewelry site and I'll be sharing some of their pieces next week and doing a giveaway!

Happy Friday!
