Zaraz Collection

A few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to visit a the boutique in Long Island,  Zaraz Collection.  When the owner, Rebecca and her husband invited Jessi and I to visit the boutique and style some of their clothes, I was ecstatic to say the least. Jessi and I stopped by, tried on some clothes and jewelry, swooned over the handbags, and of course - snapped some pictures!

(The store)

(LOVE these leather bracelets! I'd stack a bunch)

(All handmade by Rebecca)

(Just swooning over this top!)

(Some bracelets at the store. I wanted all of them!)

Zaraz Collection has women's clothes, jewelry, scarves, accessories, and purses. Some of the items are even handmade by Rebecca! Zaraz Collection was opened in 2006 and has some of the most unique accessories and handbags I've ever seen. What I love about the store is how affordable it is. I'm not the type of girl who will spend hundreds on a top, a piece of jewelry or handbag. Zaraz has affordable, timeless, and classic pieces. These pieces are also GREAT quality and won't fall apart after a few wears.

The store carries a lot of items that will never go out of style and are appropriate for women of all ages. The best part: Most of the pieces sold in the store can be worn all year round. Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring - talk about versatility :)

Zaraz Collection has fabulous items that every office fashionista needs! Scroll up and down to take a look at some of my favorite picks from the store. In the coming weeks, I'll be featuring more (office appropriate, of course!) outfits from the store. So, stay tuned!

(Cool necklace made out of old coins)

(This sweater from the store was so warm & cozy)

(Obsessed with this infinity scarf and office appropriate handbag!)

(This clutch is a handmade by Rebecca. I love the scarfs fun pattern)

(This over-sized cardigan is perfect for cool fall nights. And yes, I'm wearing about five watch necklaces!)

(Another handmade clutch and fun scarf from the store)

(That's my photographer Jessi! Isn't she cute?! The infinity scarf was Jessi's favorite piece from the store. )

You can visit the Zaraz Collection website here. Be sure to check out their Facebook page too.

man shirt

This over-sized button down tee, skinny jeans, leopard flats, and a fun necklace made for the perfect Friday outfit.

I often buy tops and dresses a size or two bigger - I love the baggy look! This top is a new addition to my closet. It was on super sale at Loft a few weeks ago and I knew I had to snatch it up. It's a great color, comfortable, and versatile. I can't wait to style it with a fur vest when it gets a little cooler.

This outfit is also a great day-to-night outfit. It was perfect for post-work dinner and drinks.

I was a little sad to see this weekend end. On Saturday, my photographer (Jessi) and I made a trek to Long Island for a fun collaboration/photoshoot with a local boutique. I'm so excited to show you guys the different pieces I styled. Stay tuned for that next week :)

Have a wonderful Monday!

Fancy Schmancy

The construction zone right outside my office makes for really great outfit pictures. I call these pants my fancy pants. They add a little pizzaz to my outfit. I normally stray away from patterned pants because it's often tough to find things to match them with. These pants are a different story. They can be worn with multiple colors in multiple ways. I can't wait to wear these pants again with a chambray top, neon t-shirt or a white button down.

These pants are very much a summer/spring/early fall kind of pant, though. Colder temps are upon us so it looks like I'll have to pack these babies away until 2015.

Pants: Old from Loft. I'm loving these

I probably should have saved this dress till Halloween. But I couldn't resist and wore it last week. Earlier that morning, I spilled coffee ALL.OVER.MY.DRESS. Thank goodness for Tide To Go pens! The stain came right off.

I love taking risks with my wardrobe. I love dressing a little edgy to the office. I really think the key to wearing something a little edgy (like a dress with skulls!) is to still make it look conservative. Make sure you still look modest. During the workday, I wore a black cardigan with this dress. I've also worn it in the past with a blazer. In the summer, I wore this dress with a black vest.

Of course, I also opted to wear a dark, vampy lip. Might as well go the whole nine yards, right?

Now that it's fall, I have to say goodbye to my sandals. My feet were freezing when taking these pictures. Hi, Fall. Bye, Sandals.

Cheers to taking risks! Happy Monday!
