Springtime Blazer

I am loving this warm weather! I always find it a little difficult to dress for work when it just starts getting warm. I'm not quite ready to break out my summer dresses, but I'm definitely ready to put away my winter tights and bulky sweaters.

The solution? This gorgeous long, sleeveless blazer. It's the perfect length for my petite frame, lightweight enough to wear when it's 85 degrees outside and 100% office appropriate. All check marks checked off! I love how structured the blazer is. I can also see myself wearing this outside of the office with high-waisted jeans, a crop top, and sandals. It can also be worn with a dress for important meetings.

Are you excited for the long weekend? I can't wait! I don't have much planned other than a few bbq's. I definitely see a lot of (much needed) rest and relaxation in my future for this weekend.

Thank you so much for reading :)

Office Kimono

Hi Friends! Happy Friday Eve! Sorry for the hiatus. I have a good excuse though. I've been a busy little bee! I've been wedding planning. I'm happy to say that my venue, photographer, and cinematographer are all booked. We're now on the hunt for DJ's. One thing at a time! Life has been crazy and stressful lately. Work has been very busy and I've been spending most of my free time consumed in wedding planning

Lately, I've really been drawn to no-fuss outfits for the office. I purchased this gorgeous white kimono a few weeks ago when Loft was having a super sale. I kept the outfit all black and white with a bold lip. This office was effortless. It was easy but still put-together and stylish.

I must mention how freakin' comfortable the kimono was. Usually, the first thing I do when I get home from work is change into a t-shirt and leggings. The kimono was so comfortable that I actually kept it on allllllllll night. I love the crisp white color and how it can be dressed up or dressed down. I know I'll be wearing this to work A LOT, but also on the weekends with jeans and sneakers.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thanks so much for reading :)

Today I'm teaming up with Warby Parker again to show you some stylish sunglasses.

While you can't wear sunglasses in the office, you can definitely wear sunglasses to the office. What you wear outside to the office - coats, sunglasses, etc are just as fun and important to style as what you wear inside the office :)

Sunglasses are one of my favorite ways to show off my style. I usually gravitate towards big, bright, glamorous, and wide frames. I love frames that are a little different and off-beat. Warby Parker has a great selection of sunglasses. They have a ton of different colors and styles. Check out the full collection by clicking here

Below are two of my favorite frames.

First up, Banks in Ginger Crystal.  These frames are large, give a ton of coverage, and are wide. I'm obsessed. I also love the color!

Outfit Details: Loft Top, J.Crew Pixie Pants, TjMaxx Flats- Similar Here, Forever 21 Necklace- Similar Options Here, Warby Parker Sunglasses, Coach Watch, Fuchsia Fusion Lipstick by Revlon.

Next up,  Buckley in Jet Black. These sunglasses are a little different from something I'd normally pick. Which is why I decided to test them out! They're definitely perfect for someone like me who has a small head. These are actually men's sunglasses, but I love them and they totally work on women too.

Outfit Details: PacSun sweater- Similar Here, J.Crew Pixie Pants, Forever 21 Flats, Fuschia Fusion by Revlon Lipstick, Warby Parker Sunglasses.

Warby Parker's sunglasses and frames start at $95. You can test out different frames and sunglasses by participating in their Home Try-On Program. Last week I styled some of my favorite Warby Parker glasses. You can find that by clicking here!

Chic Glasses for the Office

Today I'm teaming up with Warby Parker to show you chic glasses you can wear to the office!
Full Disclosure- I'm totally a contacts girl. I've always had trouble finding cute glasses - it's hard for me to find flattering frames. I grew up wearing glasses - since I was in middle school when I sported coke bottle glasses. I definitely got made fun of and ditched the glasses as soon as I got the okay to start wearing contacts. There weren't a ton of cool options out there for glasses. As I grew up, the glasses market started exploding.

Now, there are a ton of cute glasses out there, especially at Warby Parker. Cute, thin frames! Bold and bright frames! Patterned frames!

I selected three glasses from Warby Parker's Spring 2016 collection to style

First up, is Burroughs in Canton Blue. I love this frame and the color. It's bold and beautiful and added a pop to my neutral-toned outfit. This frame sports a rounded browline, squared-off lenses, and a classic keyhole bridge.

Outfit Details: J. Crew Sweatshirt (Similar here, kids version!) and Pixie Pants, Jewel Mint Necklace (Similar Here), Forever 21 Flats (Similar Here), Mac Lipstick in Media, Warby Parker Glasses.

Next up, are the Kensett frames in Whiskey Tortoise. These are the perfect pair of glasses for the office. They're sophisticated and fun but they give you the "I mean business" look. The Kensett’s rounded browline and squared-off lenses are flattering on everyone.

Outfit details: Forever 21 dress (Similar here and here), Forever 21 hat, Forever 21 necklace (loving this one!), Rampage booties via TjMaxx (Similar here), Revlon Lipstick in Cherry Blossom, Warby Parker glasses.

Last, are the Haskell frames in Crystal with Blue Jay. So, I saw my friend in these frames and I knew I had to give them a try. I'm obsessed with them and they look fabulous with a bright red lip. They're also so different. I've never seen frames like these. These glasses are so simple with slim temple arms, a keyhole bridge, and a beautiful color around each lens. So simple and perfect for the office. I can picture endless outfit possibilities with these frames.

Outfit Details: Pacsun sweater (Similar here), J.Crew pixie pants, Mac lipstick in Media, Warby Parker glasses, and I'm reading The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer.
All of these frames are part of Warby Parker's Spring 2016 collection. Spring 2016 frames start at $95. Warby Parker has beautiful glasses at affordable prices. They make buying glasses easy, fun and effortless - with money still left in your pocket. With every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.  Warby Parker has a great program called Home Try-On where you can select five frames to try on at home for free.

I'm ditching my contacts and wearing glasses for good. So which glasses should I go for? I'm thinking all of 'em. :) Thanks Warby Parker!

Be sure to come back next week to check out how I styled Warby Parker's sunglasses! Details on the blog next week. Thanks so much for reading :)
